The Hollywood Magic Castle

27/07/2026

In July 2026, I had the honour of performing at the Hollywood Magic Castle in Los Angeles - being the youngest British performer to ever headline at the Castle. The Castle is considered to be one of the most prestigious venues for magicians: only the very best are invited to perform. So when I was approached to perform 21 shows to over 1200 people, I jumped on it!

The Magic Castle is split into 5 'showrooms': the Close-up Gallery, the most intimate space that holds just 26 people, the Peller, a larger venue positioned in the basement, the Palace, the largest and longest show at the Castle, and the Parlour of Prestidigitation, which is where I was performing as one of magic's 'Future Stars'

The Parlour seats just under 60 people, and hosts two performers a night: an 'early-slot' performer and a 'late-slot' performer. The early slot magician, which I was during my week, performs 3 times a night at 7:15, 8:15 & 9:15. It was a full-on evening, and to do three shows a night for a week was initially incredibly daunting, but I soon learnt to love it.

The Magic Castle is world-renowned for not only being the epicentre of incredible magic, but for being incredibly difficult to enter. The Castle is a private, members-only club which is extremely difficult for members of the public to enter. And when they do enter, they are greeted with a very strict dress-code. Think of the outfit you'd wear to the Oscars and you won't be far off.

My time at the Castle was one of the most incredible weeks of my life, and being the youngest Brit to ever perform there was a true honour. I can't wait to head back there sometime in the future!
